What boilers do we recommend?

That all depends on what you already have in  place and what you are looking for in your new boiler.

We generally recommend Vaillant boilers as they are currently top of the Which recommended list and have a very solid reputation in the UK.

As approved installers we can provide extended warranties with our installations.

However, if you have a preferred make or for some reason the Vailant range is not suitable, we can supply and fit almost any make of boiler.

Why consider replacing your boiler?

Is Your Boiler more than 15 years old?

If your boiler is more than 15 years old you could dramatically reduce your fuel bill by installing a new, condensing boilers.

Boilers installed before 2005 are likely to be non-condensing. These boilers converted less than 75% of the gas used into heat. This means 25% or more of the gas used is wasted.

Not only does a new, condensing boiler operate at above 95% efficiency but it can also reduce its energy consumption by lowering its output when not needed. This means less gas is used resulting in lower fuel bills.

Also, most new boilers come with extended manufacturer warranties meaning if the boiler fails within the warranty, it will be repaired by the manufacturer for free (see individual manufacturer warranties for any conditions).

Is your boiler repeatedly breaking down?

Nothing lasts for ever and although your boiler is probably not something you think about very often, it is operating, quietly in the background almost every day supplying heating and hot water all year round.

This constant use eventually leads to a failure. Sometimes the broken pars can be replaced easily and relatively cheaply, but some parts are much more expensive.

If you are constantly having to get your boiler repaired it is probably getting to the end of its useful or economical life.

A new boiler will not only eliminate the repeated repair bills but also come with a Manufacturer warranty giving you piece of mind that if anything should go wrong whilst in its warranty period, the Manufacturer will repair it free of charge (see individual manufacturer warranties for any conditions).

Which Type of Boiler should you choose?

Combination Boilers

Combination boilers provide heating and hot water without the need for a hot water cylinder. Suitable for up to 2 bathrooms Including an en-suite).

They deliver hot water at mains water pressure throughout the house as it is needed while heating radiators or underfloor heating.

Heat Only and System Boilers

System or heat only boiler provide heating to your radiators or underfloor heating and hot water via a hot water cylinder.

More suitable for larger homes with  multiple bathrooms or en-suites, they can be used in conjunction with Solar Hot water Panels, and will cope with the high demand of a busy family  home.
